Standby Medical Event Coverage
Montgomery EMS can provide standby ambulance coverage for certain community events where large crowds are expected. As an all-volunteer emergency ambulance service, our primary responsibility is responding to 911 medical emergencies.
Request standby support as early as possible in your event planning process.
Standby requests
Because our primary mission is 911 emergency response, not every standby request can be supported.
All requests are reviewed individually based on event size, location, volunteer staffing availability, and impact on emergency response coverage. Submitting a request does not guarantee coverage. If Montgomery EMS is able to support your event, confirmation will be provided in writing.
For most smaller events or gatherings, organizers should call 911 if an emergency occurs.
