History

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Since 1972

Montgomery EMS has provided community-supported emergency care for more than five decades. As the township has grown, the squad has evolved its training, equipment, and operations to meet changing needs while keeping its volunteer foundation strong.

Through every era, one principle has remained constant: local people stepping forward to care for local families during emergencies.

How we have grown

  • Expanded readiness and modernization over time

  • Ongoing focus on training and operational excellence

  • Continued volunteer commitment across generations

  • Stronger partnerships with township and community organizations

Community commitment

More than emergency response

Montgomery EMS is active and visible across Montgomery Township. In addition to emergency calls, we support CPR education, preparedness outreach, volunteer development, and local partnerships throughout the year.

Our crews participate in more than 20 community standby events each year, including the Veterans Day Parade, Memorial Day Parade, Montgomery High School championship games, robotics competitions, Spring Fling, Run for Rotary, and other township community events.

  • CPR education and lifesaving awareness

  • Event standby support for community gatherings

  • Preparedness outreach and public engagement

  • Cadet and volunteer development pathways
